from your description. It still looks like the "pad" on it is there, just used. I've seen worse where it's rubbed to the bare metal. Obviously any car part that is used to grab on to a surface spinning at thousands of rpms is going to show some wear after even a little use. I guess what makes this a bad deal for you is how much you were willing to pay for the used items considering you can get them brand new for $875 at SpecialtyZ. If you would have paid half that then you probably got your money's worth. In addition, if the parts were on the car, then Booztd would have no idea of what they looked like either, only how it performed. If it was not slipping on him, then he was probably being honest to the best of his ability when he said it was in like new condition cause he was basing it on ~1k of use. Might email Greg or Seb at SpecialtZ with your pics and ask them their opinion on the how much life is left in the clutch. Depending on your use of it, ie. daily driving, ocassional track use, and how often you actually drive the car, you might be able to get some use out of it. Just a thought. Good luck.
